Former CIA Officer Demands Immediate Deportation of Mirza Katwazi

Sara Adams, a former CIA officer, has reacted sharply to a recent arg Times report, urging U.S. authorities to immediately deport Mirza Mohammad Katwazi — a former Afghan MP and a figure closely linked to Taliban officials, particularly the Haqqani Network.

Arg Times recently reported—citing an image of Katwazi’s alleged visa and confirming with several Afghan political and business figures—that Katwazi received a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) and traveled to the United States in early November. His visa was reportedly issued this summer at the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and remained valid until mid-November. Katwazi appears to have arrived in the U.S. before the visa expired.

On her X (formerly Twitter) account, Sara Adams tagged several U.S. officials and demanded:
“Deport Katwazi from the United States.”

Meanwhile, arg Times stated that despite repeated attempts, it was never able to obtain Katwazi’s response; he even blocked the outlet’s contact numbers multiple times.

Calls for his deportation have escalated following a recent incident in which an Afghan national attacked a member of the U.S. National Guard—prompting Donald Trump to call for halting Afghan admissions and to order a full review of all green cards issued to Afghan nationals.

Yet the fundamental question remains:
What overlap or hidden connection exists between U.S. security institutions and the Taliban that allows someone closely associated with the Haqqani Network to obtain an American visa?

Trump continues to blame the Biden administration, despite the fact that individuals with Taliban ties also entered the U.S. during his own presidency—a point now being reexamined by media and policymakers.
